That is how you know you are great. Never hang out with people that are better than you, it will make you look bad.

It's not a suprise, just bad writing. They did not develop the character or made us invest in him, which makes him annoying and dim. No one wants to watch unlikable people with no personal agency that is also entitled, childish, spoiled and whiny. That is a horrible recipe for a main character.

Yes…B+, the worst grade, an expression of pure hate.

What is crazy is that anyone is willing to sacrifice thousands of lives every year for the right to own a deadly weapon whose only purpose is to end life.

It just seems strange to denigrate the concept of adoption in this manner. Do you think all parents who adopt are selfish people trying to profit from others as well? It is an attitude I encounter distressingly often.

I am sure they would have been better of not growing up the children of an international movie star with millions of dollars. I get your consern, but what exactly do you think would be the improvement in their lives if they were not adopted? Do you think they would not be exploited in their home countries? Because

She expected special treatment compared to the passenger that was dragged from a flight a few months ago. Giving up a seat for another seat is not even close to as severe as he what he had to endure, an action she agreed with and defended publicly. But she feels entitled to not be subject to even a minor inconvenience

No inside information, only her own statements. She publicly stated that the person months ago did deserve the treatment, and she now believes she does not deserve a similar (but less severe) fate.

No colon in Horizon. Horizon Zero Dawn is the name, no colon:P

Can't agree with that, Aloy is a better protagonist and the setting felt more coherent in Horizon. Combat was so different it is hard to compare, still had more fun in Horizon. To be honest, Nier became a slog when I had to start "replaying" it for the third time (even if it is not the same). Same problem Drakengard

Compared to Dishonored, were I never felt any urgency or in danger at all, or Bioshock Inifinte which was schlock, I think Prey had a is better realized than both of those. The story is stronger and the setting creepier, even if it does borrow a lot from Bioschock.

Not sure about better, Horizon has an amazing story about why and how, and the setting is amazingly coherent. Nier is also good, but their objectives are not the same at all.

King is very bad at endings, it is his greatest flaw as a writer. In fact, I find his short ficiton to be his best work because he can often get away without writing a real ending or tie anything up, and he is able to imply things instead of stating them.

Victims do not come forward because they know they are unlikely to get justice, regardless of how old the case is. Even if the power differential is not a big as between Cosby and his victims, it is always there, and the evidence is clear that it is most often futile to try to get a conviction in court, and the damage

And people still wonder why so few victims come forward with rape cases. The system is set up to discredit them, and only a minority of them get any kind of "justice".

See, I choose to judge people from their actions. This lawyer was not forced to defend Cosby, he is being well compensated, and his actions speak for themselves.

Do you dispute this account of what happened? I mean, Russia is pretty shit. I have gay friends in St.Petersburg, and I can tell you it is not fun.

Those are really bad jokes

Interesting. Someone donates $250 000 to a charity organization that both needs the help and is hugely important to healthcare of women in the US, but all they can get from the jaded commentariat is a meh…

He's a gem, right? One of their defining features is being able to manipulate gravity, which is why they don't float on the Moon. My guess is that Steven can do this too, when he needs to.
