Gerrymandering makes safe seats in normal elections, but are vulnerable to wave elections since their margins are smallish. To get gerrymandered seats, the GOP have to make 1 90%+ safe Dems seat to get 2 55% GOP seats. If there is a 6% switch, the Dems will take all 3 of those seats. That is what they are hoping for.

Will no one think of the poor, slave-owning civilians!

This might be the most wrong any review has ever been on the AV club ever. Sad, really.

Your loss

The narrative of this game is amazing. your statement is absurd. It is like reading the first chapter of a book, saying this is derivative, and then throwing it away.

Could you link me to some studies on this? Most of what I have seen through a quick search looked really weak on a design level, especially since there is so little newer data.

I find it weird that people always say we should not speak ill of the dead. Why not, most of them were not great people, and some of them were immune to much critisism in life.

It was one of the best parts in many ways. The main plot point in the comics, which can't be done in the series, is that the world of Alias (the comic) is saturated with superheroes. Jessica is nominally a member of the Avengers, but she is relatively weak as a hero. They don't need her.
Kilgrave is a joke villain

Reasonable right wing voters that are put out by not being able to call the First Lady an ape without censure do not meet the definition of reasonable.

American Conservatives are not notable for being open to a plurality of opinions or not being Far Right.

Not a fan of BDSM and orientalism I take it?

Its the only truely great thing about it, even if the gender essentialism is pretty weird

Well, while the book does have those themes, they are not as well explored as the actual (or is it?) love story between Eli and Oscar. Let Me In inverts the premise of the story by making explicit that Abby is a mastermind that is manipulating Owen, while Eli is a tragic figure that partners up with a budding serial

Better Call Saul is consistently better when it is its own thing instead of trying to be a Breaking Bad prequel, so I understand the apprehension in this review.

It's kind of a huge part of her character though, the whole foster kid with attachment issues which is the bedrock of her characterization. Would be weird if they removed it.

BoJack Horseman.

Oryx and Crake is her best novel, the Blind Assassin is at best the 3rd best.

Well, it seems to also be his policies. For Canada, he is pretty squarly a centrist, but he campaigned much more to the left. A let down, in other words.

I do not understand this argument. Tax-payers foot the bill for many things they don't enjoy. I dislike cars as a concept and a mode of transport, and think highways are a blight. Still have to pay taxes to support them, because I know that a lot of people rely on them and use them all the tie, and sometimes I too have
