I mean, fair point, but we don't send people to prison because of their unknown crimes.

I mean, if you're going to feign ignorance of the debate regarding punishment vs rehabilitation, then I don't know what to tell you.

This irritated the everloving shit out of me.

The most convincing argument I've heard (not saying that I agree with it) is that if the point of prison is to rehabilitate someone, then why prosecute someone who has not reoffended for 40 years?

I zoomed my browser in 500% and I still can't tell what some of these are. At least I can now see the ice cube is supposed to be the Mona Lisa.

Sounds too reasonable.

It's crazy to me that spice can actually be deadly, even though I get incredibly uncomfortable and then sick even just eating something as mild as movie theater nachos.

I can see your emojis. There's a smiley face, a dog? a camel?, a piece of pizza…..is that an ice cube?

Last week.

I knew you were trouble when you walked in, so shame on me now.

I have an inform book sitting around and it's one of my bucket list type of things, but I'm trying to learn how to do real code (inform 7 uses natural language though maybe the concepts are the same) hoping to make a living at that myself.

Can we go back to not liking her again or are we obligated to like her for a set amount of time due to her being a badass during her trial?

There are some Steven Soderbergh movies that I love, but I think he's fallen into the ranks of Christopher Nolan types who I just don't get despite their accolades and mainstream appeal. I didn't like Ocean's 11 or Full Frontal (I saw FF first despite it coming later) and it's been downhill from there. Magic Mike in

I was out of town in a hotel room without wifi so I went prepared with torrents and watched:

I don't know… I'm fine with that question. I guess most people's mind seems to be going to white supremacists wanting to only date other whites, but the people I've known to be the most insular in not dating outside their race or nationality have been minorities so i think of, say, a korean guy wanting to meet a

Good points as always, but I don't see it the same as someone being sexist in a meeting. People are entitled to be treated equally and with respect at work, but no one is entitled to be treated equally in someone's dating pool. People's friendships occupy some weird in between space.

Yeah, I'm not really sure what i think about all of this. On one hand, it's really nice to see people saying "this isn't ethical and we won't support it" but on the other hand, I'm always a little taken a back by censorship. People will give the tired line about government can't censor but spotify blah blah blah,

Oh, i thought this may have been literal. I have been out of town and it feels like i missed a whirlwind of fallout and self inflicted damage.

I once played Veronica Mars in a break room at work - it was the episode where Veronica gets mad at her dad for dating someone new and crosses some lines with new boyfriend Troy.

My dad was a professional magician before i was born, so i never really understood magic hate either, but i also don't really encounter it much. Everyone loves a well executed trick.
