I miss the TWOP recaps, but the commenters there were probably the worse group of people outside of nazis and MRAs. I used to keep a running list of things they did that annoyed me (1. "Hoyay!")

I actually kind of love Disqus. It is definitely the best cross platform commenting system I have seen. I think the biggest problems with it were due to AVClub trying to hold onto their own registration system when they should have just switched everyone over.

Embedded media is for idiots.

The search function here has always sucked ass. Just use google.

Kinja sucks though. It's not conducive to conversations.

I'd put MLA with Buzz - two terrible people but in the opposite way. But boy would the sparks sure fly.

recognitions / recognitions - recognitions successfully pushes for autosexuals to become a recognized and accepted minority and marries theirself. Now they shows up in random TV Clubs and bitches crusades for media representation

I would disagree that young Luke Perry had the gravitas needed for Twin Peaks or that he seemed soulful on 90210. His brooding seemed practiced and affected to me, if i remember right.

I remember seeing it and thinking it was terrible.
