I'll agree maybe on Bobby, but not on James. I really think James is meant to be more soulful and substantial as well as simply more "edgy" than James Marshall was able to muster, at least back then.

I don't remember the other characters being portrayed negatively. If anything, I remember that they were portrayed as being sensitive and not wanting to offend Pat.

Right? The article mentions low hanging fruit, but that one in particular feels picked on because it's Twilight, which I think is more a case of bored "What are we supposed to do with this?" acting than bad acting.

This video was a chore to get through. Do we really need this guy narrating the plots of the movie? Did we need the whole fucking summary of Twilight before showing Kristen Stewart convulsing? it does not help that his voice sounds like Batman's gurgle.

This is an unpopular opinion, but I always wished the actors who played James and Bobby switched. I think Dana Ashbrook would have given James the charisma and aloofness he needed and James Marshall could have pulled off Bobby's dopey All American football player.
