    The Kotaku article is great but it makes the game sound pretty grim and while it's very dark by DQ standards, I think it's still pretty lighthearted and cartoonish compared to most other RPGs. On a scale of Pokemon to Dark Souls, it's still way closer to Pokemon. Just be forewarned if that's what was appealing to you…

    Everything is announced in hyperbole in the clickbait era. You don't criticize someone, you DECIMATE them. A commercial isn't a little weird, it's NIGHTMARE FUEL DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN IT.

    I mean I'll still gorge myself on donuts and cake, it just can't be anything I made. I have to not be thinking about what went into it. It has really stifled any potential baking career. I'm never going to profit from the cupcake trend now.

    This commercial is awesome, by the by. How about we stop shitting all over anything the least bit daring?

    Tangent: I really like baking because it's a bit like alchemy where you get something totally different than what you started with, but I hate eating anything I bake because I feel like I can taste all the components as well as all the flaws.

    No, because "virtue signaling" refers to the actual act of showing off your values. You can be a hypocrite in a myriad of ways that don't involve virtue signaling and you can virtue signal without being a hypocrite.

    I mean, it's their fault for making you want them so bad.
