Larry Tyler Moore? He dead.

He's fantastic, isn't he? Criminally underrated! My wife drove 90 minutes back in the 90s, to scope out the venue he was performing at on the following night, and when we pulled up to the venue, we heard the unmistakable sounds of "Tear-Stained Letter" being rehearsed (a day early!). We got out of the car to listen,

I've seen folk-rock legend Richard Thompson at least 4 times…maybe 5? No, I think 4. I'll never pass up the opportunity to see the guy - he's phenomenal.

My wife and I have rewatched Breaking Bad and The Wire, and appreciated them on a whole different level upon seeing them again. Conversely, we tried, and failed, to get anything out of Mad Med on a first viewing. We stopped in season 2… the show just seemed to go….nowhere. I know we're in the minority here, but I

I suppose I tend to have higher expectations from the Coens, and hoped that Hail Caesar was a musical I could enjoy, much like O Brother. But for some reason, I got angrier the longer it went on, until I couldn't take it any longer. Like you, I just have no interest in 50s era musicals…so I felt duped. I expected

I'm a huge Coen Brothers fan, but the only time I ever walked out of a movie in my 45 years was while watching "Hail, Caesar!".
I hated everything about it, and since my expectations are always so high for their films, I just couldn't make myself put up with it for anything longer than an hour.

My wife and I hate-watch this show. She hates it even more than me, ever since the beginning. She always referred to Brody as "ass face", because his mouth looked like a puckered asshole.

I tried the first episode, but it felt fake…too much "Music is everything, maaaaaan!" grooviness for me. I also didn't like Bobby Cannavale in the lead role.

What makes you laugh? Just curious.

Do Jost and Che read ANY of their Weekend Update material before showtime? Che, in particular, reads his jokes as though he just recently learned to read.

My wife and I both loved this episode, and have enjoyed season 2 more than the first. What I appreciate is that the show is impossible to predict, and it makes up its own rules as it goes along, but not in a way that feels like cheating to me. I love it!

Clearly.

I'm offended! Cigarettes should never post comments on crappy blogs. I'm OFFENDED! I WANT SOMEBODY FIRED!

Yeah, you're right…calling women whores "all the time" is bad. This particular guy made a joke. A JOKE. USING THE WORD 'WHORE'! Cripes.

I thought all those tweets were mildly funny. And even if I didn't, who cares? He was obviously trying to be funny, and fuck society for being so silly. What a bunch of babies we've become.

I thought it was embarrassingly unfunny and amateurish… I'm not gonna try episode 2. Too many genuinely great things on tv to watch!

Thanks for the tip on This Life…I'm seeking it out now!

Jesus Christ, people. I laughed a lot during this episode…I'm surrounded by Comic Book Guy-type people who just want to criticize…even at it's very worst ,The Simpsons is still pretty damned good. The only time I've felt disappointed is when they felt the need to add little vignettes to "pad" the episode towards the

I gave up on this show 2 years ago when I realized that I could no longer tolerate a) Mitchell and Cam acting childishly bitchy to each other, b) Phil and Claire doing ANYTHING, because they so obviously hate each other, and c) Gloria screeching with that awful voice of hers.
Oh, and d) the adopted kid.
Some of my
