That's too bad. Her only fault was perhaps being too good at bringing Lori to life, who was annoying in the comic(though bad writing made her MORE annoying on TV). She's absolutely aces here, so obviously it was the character/writing and not the actress.

And it will all turn out to be a dream……

At this point I've kinda stopped attributing anything badly written as real character motivation. Its like they're all trapped in a bizarre dream, their decisions are "dream logic". It would, literally, explain everything.

Oh I have up spelling for this show. It's it's not in browser spellcheck, it's pure chance if I get any Wesen names correct.

Alas I will never accept Adelind as part of the team because the writers were too ham-handed about it. They wanted her to turn to the light, but were too lazy to convince us she'd changed in any real way.

>Nick trying to pimp out Adalind to Renard again, WTF…

If you like the character, take it. I was shouting," Don't argue…get on that bus out of the show and don't look back!" If we're lucky we might get a decent spin-off. If we're unlucky, Trubel will return at the last minute to rescue everyone and die horribly.

Wow, now the show's almost over, the character writing is starting to get good again. No whining about being Hexenbiests. No love polygons. It's a dumpster fire, but at least it's an entertaining dumpster fire.

This show proves that it's how you tell a story that makes all the difference. Reviewers say it's not an original premise, but it's done well and , since there are only a limited types of stories to tell, so it's all really about being done well. What Colony manages is being done well, but not being flashy about it.

Yeah, the writing for Lori was bad. Not that the character from the comic was fantastic or anything. I never liked her there but she was(sorta)plausible). But TV Lori…Oh.My. God.

Remember when "Fear The Walking Dead" was supposed to show how society collapsed? Nice to see "Colony" taking the plunge and actually doing it without being asked to. I was a little confused and annoyed at first—I really wanted it to hit the ground running exactly where we left off—-but this is alright. As long as

I'm at the point where I'm okay if everyone dies heroically(or not so much), as long as Monroe, Rosalee, and Trubel(and perhaps Hank and Wu) get out alive. Since the writers destroyed almost all narrative meaning, the ending should be quick and merciful.

"whatever happened to those coins?! ha"

>They're so desperate to preserve the 'dark chessmaster' status quo

They've been handwaving secondary sources of infection from day one. You'd think for instance, after a Zombie Gut Poncho adventure, everyone would wash down thoroughly. But no. They treat it as if once the guts are separate from the active Zombie, they're inert or something.
Oh the Continuity!

Please tell us more about your "gay bashing" concerns.

Let's not get carried away.

"Kirkman feels that Negan is the best character in the comic."
God help us.
Was this something he said on Talking Dead or somewhere else?

Well, it was SUPPOSED to show us exactly how the outbreak happened and how society broke down. Instead we got a 3-6 weeks later advance over all that stuff. That was straight up bait and switch.

Kirkman and Gimple seem to be fetishizing the source material more and more, to the point where they've boxed themselves in.
