I actually saw a great post elsewhere that had a different take on Hopper's actions in this episode:

The pilot should have ended when the dude shot himself with a title card that said "and then they all sued the FBI for gross negligence and all got a huge payday. The End" What a dumb show.

Oh hey it was also super awesome of them to have the trans character date her own brother without him knowing. Totally great to play into the "trap" stereotype

I cannot believe this episode did not get an F.

The ending of Dark Tower is also fantastic because King acknowledges what the ending he thought would be when he was 19 - That the Crimson King was the author. But he directly addresses that and says in the book that this isn't the case.

All he has to do is say "I'm getting a vasectomy. Tomorrow"

Kamala is an Inhuman and as such has a big chance to be the audience insert character for that movie, there are ways to get her in that aren't making her part of the captain marvel movie franchise. She's incredibly popular at the exactly right time.

It is possible that Kamala will be in the Inhumans movie, but no one knows anything yet.

I don't understand the question. Kamala and Carol do exist in the same universe?

"Spider-Gwen is still selling over 100k per issue after four issues, so I will dismiss it out of hand"

Characters are never lost causes. Red Hulk was terrible and then a good writer made them not terrible.

The assertion that there should be a MCU Nextwave adaptation is also hilarious. What a train wreck that would be - just like the terrible comic itself!

His Superior is fantastic. Everything after Superior has been terrible.

yeah sorry, I forgot about All-New, All-Different.

Oh, and also, Captain Marvel is not for sure cancelled. Marvel has not solicited many of their comics past the Secret Wars event. If Captain Marvel is definitely cancelled, so is Avengers, Iron Man, and a slew of other titles. I think we can all agree that Marvel will *probably* have an Avengers and Iron Man comic

Yes, definitely.

I think this article is simply wildly innaccurate on many levels. Silk was *12th* in sales in March. Unbeatable Squirrel Girl is huge in digital sales. Dismissing Spider-Gwen because it wasn't supposed to be an ongoing at first doesn't make any sense.

and on top of that, Ms. Marvel is outselling Miles in any case.

Miles is a) almost certainly going to be in 616 after this summer and b) that doesn't really effect whether or not he's a poc character in a significant role for Marvel.

So why doesn't Miles Morales count? That seems, pretty shitty.
