did the ASM movies even happen, or were they a dream upon the wind?

This actually won't be treading the same ground because *all* of the Spider-Man movies featured a high school Peter for about ten minutes before he graduated. Focusing on a teenager is actually something that has not been done, especially one that's 15-16 instead of 18 going on 25.

The wig they put cyrus in, as well as trying to sell him as roughly 30 years younger, was hilarious. Then they had a jump in their marriage that went 16 years and it was even sillier.

that's pretty disgusting.

The thing about the Divergent series is that the final reveal about the city and the people in it is actually pretty interesting. But it waits waaaaay too long to make that reveal so it makes the conceit (that for some reason there are people with only one personality) sound really stupid.

no, I really didn't. It doesn't matter if there was a "point." It was poorly executed and is still offensive.

how are we, in the year of our lord 2015, still producing media that features white people masquerading as other races. It doesn't matter if it's meant to be absurd. It's a white person pretending to be a native american. It's redface. It's insane.

wait, are they supposed to be in Alexandria from the comics - the Alexandria that is right outside of DC?

The reviews for fifty shades of grey are across the board abysmal

Based on the teaser for next week, it seems pretty obvious it was not Iran who bought Olivia. Probably end up being her dad.

This episode was dumb because it relies on Olivia being dumb. In the first five minutes of her capture my wife said oh that place will be like a set in a building and Ian is obviously the person in charge. And then she leaves THE LOADED GUN in the corridor even though she knew at least that they weren't the only guys

"Okay, Amber, you’re pregnant. We got it. You can stop touching your belly now."

yes yes yes

I was so surprised that Kristina's response to Dylan wasn't:

How in the world were the other parents terrible? Sydney is a monster and was bullying/harassing their child. Why should the other parents give a shit that her parents are getting a divorce? It's still unacceptable, and she's still acting like a terrible person - she can't even apologize for it.

The narration in this show drives me crazy. It's like the show thinks everyone who is watching is too stupid to follow along.

I thought this was a really weird season/series finale. Such a strange ending and basically no resolution to her dad's story at all.

this show is going to be terrrribbblllleeeeeee

Yeah, I'm not sure that was the takeaway. That could be the case, but I think she's just another red herring. In the comics, she's not even really *bad,* she just happens to work for Shield when Norman Osborn is in control. The show doesn't need to hew to the comics at all, but I don't think she's the clairvoyant here.
