Thanks Fang. This is my first season reading AV Club recaps.

"Mott." No "e" on the end.

I'm gay, and I didn't see anything special about that suit. Guess I'm not THAT gay! LOL!

I agree that a lot of Bassett's dialogue was inane this week. Except for "God DAMN! You really ARE a mind reader!" I LOL'ed at that.

I don't think they minded burying the cop. He got what he deserved. But the body count is nowhere near "Coven." People were dying and being resurrected every week on that show LOL!

Why? It was just a red suit. What was so special about it?

You must be a twentysomething who took Ritalin as a child for ADD. That scene between Bates and Lange was a welcome change from the frenetic, quick cuts of today's television shows. It's nice to see the camera linger for more than a millisecond, and let the actors do their thing.

How could you lose count? They've only buried two people: Meep and Ethel.

I liked when Elsa said "Oh my Gott in Himmel!"

Who is Erik Adams?

Can someone please explain why Valerie's kitchen cabinets were taped shut? Why would they need to tape her cabinets shut in order to shoot the Mallory-at-home scenes? That makes no sense whatsoever.

Yes, Lisa has talked about having a nose job. She was on RoveLA (a short-lived talk show hosted by Rove McManus) with Kathy Griffin. They both talked about their nose jobs and being in the Groundlings together.

I love Mickey! Did you know that Robert Michael Morris, who plays Mickey, is a drama teacher in real life?

The actress was Carrie Preston, who plays lawyer Elsbeth Tascioni on "The Good Wife." It took me awhile to recognize her too, without her signature red hair. (But that voice is unmistakable!)

I agree Julia is great, but if for some reason they are thrown into the same category, I say give it to Lisa. Julia has 5 Emmys and Lisa only has the one. :(

You and me both! (But, knowing the Emmy committee, they'll probably give it to Julia Louis-Dreyfus again. The Emmys can be so boring and predictable).

Yes, Mickey's line about the Rockford Files reminded me of last week when he said (about the kneepads), "SHE WON'T NEED THEM!"

I watched "Getting On" for the first time this weekend. (AT&T U-verse had a free premium weekend, so I took advantage of it). I had never heard of the show before, but I have to say "Getting On" is brilliant! And so much more dialogue than The Comeback. All the actors nail it!

Whitney Cummings is partially responsible for 2 Broke Girls (but I get your point!).

Very cool of them to show Valerie taking a Groundlings class. She was in the Groundlings with Kathy Griffin back in the late 80s/early 90s. There's a picture of the 2 of them in Kathy's book "Official Book Club Selection."
