So end of season awards nominations?
So end of season awards nominations?
"I came down firmly on the side of thinking that he totally knows it's Diane and he's just letting her know that he knows and that she can keep her dignity and tell him in her own time. "
With respect to Bojack, the AV Club's left hand is dismissing it and the AV Club's right hand is calling it one of the best shows on TV.
"I'm a free born man of the USA"
I assumed it was Angela Diaz at first but it makes more sense that it was someone else. Making it Jill Pill would be a great dovetail.
Diane's refugee's accent is what? Seems Asian in nature which given Diane's Vietnamese ancestry makes some sense (even though her whole family consists of Boston accents)
POINTS!!!
For those that haven't seen the Christmas Special, I was doing a version of what Todd says in that episode.
The drum solo is the only thing in common with it, it might as well be a parody of Whiplash.
"Damn Bojangles, you got served!!!" is so great.
The Studio 60 graphic is a clue.
"Wait, where's House of Cards?" he asked sarcastically!
One of the shots shows "Studio 60". This is why I think it's more a parody of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip or just a generic Sorkin walk-and-talk parody.
In Alan Arkin's case, he could probably go with Academy Award Winner Alan Arkin. Not because he's not terrific though just that he's not as well known for a specific project.
That episode of Bojack Horseman where Sarah Lynn said "SUCK A DICK, DUMBSHITS!" really taught Todd how to say "SUCK A DICK, DUMBSHITS"
Definitely top 3 for me, Mad Men's Time and Life and Better Call Saul's Five-O are somewhere in the mix too.
Oh that's what it was. No wonder!
If she wants, she really should be doing more animated work, her Christmas episode of American Dad was one of my favorites.
Someone like Bryan Cranston can guest star without a qualifier and apparently so can Jon Hamm. It could be that not enough people in general watch Orphan Black but I'm pretty sure that's not indicative of the AV Club readers.
A) I clearly saw it as an homage to Studio 60 (they were even shooting on Studio 60)
