At least they have fewer episode to edit out, I guess.
I wonder why the regular shows get 13 eps and Defenders is getting 8 despite having like 100 characters. Could it be because it's a lot of leads to pay for?

I apologize for sounding hostile. Really.

I'm still in that mindset where 2001 was three years ago or something.

LET'S RUSH THE PRODUCTION OF THIS ONE, TRUST ME IT'S A GOOD IDEA :)))

It did need re-editing, I'm just saying I'd rather have a weak start than a weak ending. I enjoyed the ending. I see not everyone does, but not everything is enjoyed by everyone.

Yeah they just put everyone who's not wasp in there. Which is funny because as an Italian I don't find someone like Pedro Pascal exotic at all. I even thought he was Spanish. But that's Hollywood I guess: let's give people a tan and say they're "exotic"!

She isn't. She's trying not to piss off those who are.

I see, thank you. Well I'm still very happy they cast him because I love the actor. I guess genes are a funny thing or he was just adopted. Perhaps we'll find out.

Oh God it's not a popular line of argument, now I'm so sad.

Okay, I'll wonder how the dragon got there too :)

Did they say he is, though? They might have changed that.

Ha, I remember that too. She also said when they got to the audition they pretended they hadn't seen each other for a long time to make their chemistry look fresher.

Thank God Sacha is defending him. At least him.

Oh Lord, thank you.

We're talking about a place where there's a dragon you can punch to get a glowy iron hand and the unlikely aspect of it is someone has a British accent? Danny was flying above the place and ended up there, I'll just assume the same happened with other people coming from other places.

I think what Jones actually said is that Danny is a problematic character but the show knows it and inspects his flaws as opposed to celebrating him. Which is true, in my opinion. Anyway I definitely agree there's no way he could turn down a job.

Some people who decided to hate her along with all the rest are even arguing she took a role from a black actress on GoT. There's really a vicious circle surrounding this whole thing that's just… too much.

On that I really agree.

The showrunner said K'un Lun wouldn't be exclusively Asian, I suppose to tone down down the whitesavoury aspect of the story and the villainisation of Asians that made Daredevil much more racist than this one.

I hope she'll forgive me if I don't buy that she almost turned down a role in a Marvel show because they'd cast a white friend of hers as a white character.
