Sue me.

Perhaps I'm a simple person, but I did see a lot of sweetness there.

Danny and Colleen are so pure I feel like I'm their mom and I'm hardly older than either. Such level of sweetness is rare these days.
Also thank you Ward, I'm sure nobody in The Hand stays dead but it felt quite liberating.

You know, I hadn't said this so far because people would call me racist as God forbid you say anything about a man of color, but I agree. I don't know if he's arrogant and butthurt, I want to believe he's the cutest human being on the planet, but he's obviously being unprofessional and passive aggressive.

Also true. I tend to forget it's the same Hand as in Daredevil because this one turned out so much more intriguing.

I think he isn't but maybe they were to him?

Ultimately it seems like he's rejecting what he learned more than he embraces it. His faith seems genuine and there's no reason he would show it off if it wasn't (he could just revert to Catholicism which I presume was his religion for his first ten years) but everything else that was put in his head he seems like

I doubt Danny's supposed to come across as wise anyway. His words are one thing, his actions are another, so even though he learned some nice sayings he's still a confused orphan wondering if he belongs.

I liked episodes 10 to 13 way more actually.

I thought they sort of capture people every 15 years the way they did Danny, plus it's not just a monastery I gather? There's sort of an ancient town he'd escape to from time to time

It's really a 13 hour movie isn't it? Unlike the other ones it just benefits from being binged.

I agree. I sort of thought the same about Elodie Yung as Elektra. We can't want these people to be excellent at everything.

To be fair it wouldn't be the first villain we all like more than the hero so I tend to disagree. Very often it's not so much that the actor is better (although they often are), it's that the character is compelling. I'd definitely like to see him again.

In case you're not joking, there's a difference between choosing chastity and being brainwashed into taking a vow when you're 10. If you're joking you probably already know this so ignore me.

Didn't he say he and his friend ate donkey (I think) whenever they could escape the monastery? They clearly never made the veg choice, at least not willingly

Poor boy likely had never seen a woman up close before, I tend to forgive his weakness.

I didn't know, thanks for this!

Does anybody care for the Hand though?

Definitely not my favourite episode, this one. I may have liked the premiere more, but then again I'm one of the few who didn't hate the premiere.

That bit was both hilarious and adorable.
