It is. I'm not sure what they're planning on doing now, suddenly she'll be back and Rebecca will… Feel bad? Couldn't she have thought about it sooner?

I feared that too but I also remember reading Rachel Bloom said they're planning 4 seasons tops which made me think the CW kind of agreed to that. I just really hope award noms keep coming, possibly including Emmys. But the writing room also needs to work so hard they can't ignore them.

One of my best friends watches and enjoys it while skipping every song altogether because she hates musical, I have no idea how that's possible but she does it and I guess so could you.

While I wouldn't call him the heart and soul of the show I definitely think he was a great asset both as a character and a singing voice. And I didn't even particularly like him at first! I'd be completely at loss as a writer if I were to replace Fontana without making it look like I'm seeking a Greg Substitute™.

Shitshow also is a gem, although I do struggle to think of a great song/episode since Greg left.

Don't get me wrong I loved this episode and the office song was so meta it was amazing, but am I the only one who was expecting Rebecca to think of Valencia at least once before getting back together with Josh?

I consider Crazy Ex's renewal a reward to my constant rewatching of it since it finally came on my country's Netflix. We don't have weekly upload, though, hopefully they will come.

I literally tried as I watched.

Best piece of news from today.

I prefer to think so too. I mean, I don't think the show ever established him as a smart guy, but they did imply he was the cool and likable one. Thing is we already saw in the Christmas episode last year that like many high-school cool guys he doesn't quite know what to make of himself growing up. Hence the bad

Maybe it was part that, but there must have been an element of re-reading of his and Valencia's relationship after she peed on his stuff, methinks. Still he wasn't fair to her. Rebecca is another thing.

I can't believe I have to think of myself as old enough to get some things but yes, exactly.

I was actually surprised I hadn't thought about it because it made perfect sense.

Don't say that! I live in a bubble where Crazy Ex is perfectly safe.

Up to a point in this episode I was telling myself, this is somewhat weak, it happens to the best shows.
And then Paula and Rebecca confronted each other and I literally cried. Literally.

I could definitely see her stabbing someone with scissors in self defense — not just because she'd do it, but because the writers would 100% put her in such a horrible situation.

Great episode and I love Hitchcock (also the fact that Michael has been trying to persuade Jane to watch Hitch films strengthens my #TeamMichael-ness). But yeah, Petra would have been a fantastic addition.

Same.

You're probably right. I just hope it's properly dealt with.

I think she'll probably develop feelings for Raf but then it'll be too late.
