I legit had to stop myself from laughing out loud at work when I read this.

I enjoyed the backstory episode too. Interesting timeline.
Ok I couldn't help but think of AD and Marty Byrne/Michael Bluth turning into George Sr. while watching this show. With that being said, I thought it was a good show overall. I'm wondering how many commenters actually watched the show?
It was like watching Ban turn into an Internet Husband meme.
"…my sense from the writing of their (Jon and Dany's) scenes is that no sexual tension was intended, which I found refreshing."
Same here. Let's focus on Brienne and Tormund.
"They can still have affairs and fuck up their lives in flyover country."
For real. I'm sick of NYC or LA being set as a backdrop for everything when it doesn't need to be.
FWIW, I'm a DINK surrounded by other DINKS and SINKS. The show (especially Lisa's character) resonates with me. I think I hated it because it forced me to look at myself in the mirror.
I admit to having a soft-spot for Brooks.
It sounds like I made a good call not seeing this in the theater.
Also, I wanted more of Drs Okum and Issacs. They were the best part of the movie.
It was Poochie's exit, in reverse.
This episode sold me on the show. Kenny and Keith Lucas gave me flashbacks to Arrested Development. "We've been dealing with twincists like you all our lives."
"…Except that she really did birth a demon."
I think it would have been appropriate for Willis' eyes to roll back/turn white when Bran warged into him pre-Hodor. Good sub-thread.
GRRM looks like he's going to keel over from complications due to diabeetus so I'm relying on the show at this point to finish ASOIAF.
Make the Iron Islands Great Again!
There's also the one near The Wall where Jon swore his oath to the Night's Watch. I don't know if it's age was ever alluded to.
"I'm ready for my closeup," said that guy's balls.
His wussiness better come in handy.
Does anyone else get a Team Rocket vibe from Cersei, Jamie and The Zombie Mountain?
"Yah, but there were precedents for Targaryans to have multiple spouses."
Good point. I can't remember which Targaryen king it was, but he took two of his sisters as spouses.
