    I am sick of people pointing to the cat as reason to think Avery was capable of killing Halbach. It is such a red herring. Regarding the "burning" of the cat, I found this on Reddit from someone who actually grew up in Manitowoc:

    "…the true professionals who spent months, years on this case are wrong
    and have made the whole thing up just for poops and giggles…"
