Anyone who spends time having passionate or semi-passionate discussions on the Internet have been Ronaldo.

This was honestly my favorite episode in a long while. It felt like a season 1B or early season 2 SU episode. I miss the slow burns some times. I also felt this episode really hit me considering some real life stuff I'm going through as well. And teaching kids (and adults who need to hear it more than anyone) about

Remember when we first met Connie and she said her dad was a cop…then corrected herself and said security guard? So we knew the police existed since at least "Bubble Buddies" though I think most of us just took it for granted that police existed without needing to have it established.

I forgot to say that I totally approve of mysterious pink hair girl because she uses "Sugar in the Raw".

This episode really was a pay-off from those heavier, gut wrenching Pearl episodes. I finally feel a burden being lifted from Pearl after this one, and I didn't even know I really needed to feel that until this episode aired.

I'd like to think the world in SU and our world is the same world and same history until shown otherwise. Meaning that our world is the default for which the Crewniverse draws from, and then they reveal changes here and there to show a difference (like the physical map), (gem war predating human civilization), etc.

This episode was brilliant and only worked because of all the work the Crewniverse did to slowly build Pearl up to this in the past 3 years. This is what investing in true character development for a TV series actually looks like. It's truly very rarely done or executed properly, so to see it work on SU is just

You mean "Jeff" aka story boarder Jeff Liu? I love "Jeff" because I love Jeff Liu.

I remember reading an interview with Rebecca Sugar when she said Lars and Sadie where characters she came up with a long time ago (I think college?). I guess she loved them so much she decided to interject them into SU, which would explain why Lars and Sadie were in that unaired pilot. They were already fully

Hey man, we knew she was a good driver since "Arcade Mania" when she managed to avoid crashing, even though the point was to crash. When Steven told her that, Pearl was absolutely horrified. Those arcade driving games are super hard.

Perf.

As an attorney, I'm absolutely down with that.

The fact that Greg hangs out with other adults in beach city made me way too happy and relieved. I think I'm way too invested in the well-being of the characters of this show. I mean after "Greg, the Babysitter", I would have hated to think Greg and Vidalia were no longer friends as they seemed to really understand

I have a feeling the clerk's reaction would very much be like Jane's reaction when she asked if Lion had a reward's card in Lion 2: The Movie.

I'm marathoning the song. I have to check out the rest of the album.

Rebecca Sugar does. She created them before she even created Steven Universe. They were even in the unaired non-canon pilot.

Even the way Mr. Smiley said "we used to have a . . . routine" gave off that vibe, like when a closeted gay man would hide the true nature of his relationship with another man or just someone who just doesn't want another third person to know the true nature of his/her relationship to a second person.

I don't think anybody is disputing that. It's just…the dialogue itself in that particular scene and the way Mr. Smiley hesitated when he said "we used to have a…routine.", especially after re-watching it, really gives off that vibe to many people. Me personally, I think canonically the dialogue about wanting to be

So true and nicely put!

I love you Tiger Millionaire.
