In one budget saving move, Cameron made James Horner just recycle the score of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan for Aliens.

I think you had to buy the demo kit for yourself at the beginning of the summer, but then you could sell it back to the company when you went back to school.

For all the crap Shatner deservedly gets for his over-acting, he played that scene perfectly. The off camera coping and quick resolution, "we're not finished yet." It fit the character perfectly.

Yeah. In general I liked "First Contact", but it too often tried to be the "Die Hard" or "Aliens" of the franchise. Its not easy to take pudgy TV actors and make them into silver screen action heroes.

This is where I felt Cumberbatch's character went wrong. It was too methodical and competent, lacking in the maniac department.
"He is intelligent, but not experienced. His patterns reflect… 'two dimensional' thinking."

I remember working so hard to convince some friends in college that "First Blood" was a legitimately great movie with an oscar worthy performance by Stallone. They finally acquiesced to watching with me (skeptically). They were totally convinced it would be meat-head corny 80s action, but just 15 minutes into the

You did well.

"Driving down the road, looking for a wafflehouse, drinking lots of Wild Turkey!"

And, for all the crap Shatner gets for his overacting, he chews the scenery when he Saavik tells him David is dead.

Its a shame Kirstey Alley was recast!

"What does God need with a starship?"

Since seeing STIV I have never been called a dumbass without replying, "Well double Dumb-ass on you!"

Puberty was just around the corner when I first saw this movie in the theater as a kid. Needless to say, Jennifer Connelly became the platonic ideal of a woman for many years after that.

I instantly looked for "Rax", but I'm surprised to find that there are 8 locations left. I might have to make a trip to nowhere Ohio to try it one last time. One of my earliest memories was eating there with my mom when someone told us the Challenger shuttle exploded.

Someone described it to me as, "imagine if Space Ghost: Coast to Coast were all live action." I've been a religious devotee to the show ever since.

Reggie's love of Gene Wilder makes more sense than anything else in the cosmos.

Not enough Ernest Borgnine.

Even when I was a 12 year old watching this movie I thought that maybe John Lithgow was overdoing it a little bit. Talk about chewing the scenery!
But even though a lot of the scenes were ridiculous, the stunts and action pieces were pretty impressive.

I think the problem with Cap's Avenger's costume is that it makes him look smaller and less muscular.
This is the dilemna with most superhero costumes. On the page they're drawn as 300lb bodybuilders. Chris Evans bulked up nicely to play Cap, but he was never going to be able to pull off the spandex look. The military
