Can anybody explain why, with the exception of Rosa Jake and Amy, none of the rest of the squad is spending their thanksgiving with their loved ones? Where is Kevin and Genevive and Nickolash and Terry's family and Scully's wife? I feel like previous thanksgiving episodes attempted an explanation for this but this one

Probably. Babies are well babies and there a lot of rules governing how long babies can be shown on camera.

That was under the assumption of a 2 yr time jump lol

If Chambers wants to stay and they didn't want to squander the Alec storyline, they have potential for a great season by doing a 2 year time jump. In the intermin, Amelia has been MIA, Owen has adopted a kid, Richard has left the hospital and is no longer on speaking terms with Bailey. It could start with Alex being

Yeah that didn't make any sense. If Jo legally change her name, there would be no need for her old name to come up- she's not the one on trial here.

High school Ro was perfectly cast although I would have preferred his accent to be stronger…

Oh god not a "fake cousin/mysterious relative" storyline. I'm still scarred from when One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl did theirs.

For sure. I feel so bad for those twins. I get that this is Jane's show but I would love for a Rafael/Petra storyline to revolve around the twins rather than the hotel/blackmail shenanigans. Maybe for their first birthday party?

Yeah, Raf was being a serious dick this episode, your ex/mother your children went through a serious trauma and has no support system. Why not try to comfort her or see it from her side.

I mean compared to the Orange Demon Clown and Pence, Ryan seems like a messiah *sobs uncontrollably*

Trump choking to death would be great but Pence would also need to die at the exact same time because the idea of Pence bring president is fucking horrifying.

Yep and on YouTube for those of us on mobile :)

Sad to see there won't be regular coverage but glad for a great review of the premiere. I have been waiting a while, the episode has been on YouTube for a while now…

Yeah, I will never forgot how outraged I was over the way the PoA movie destroyed the plot. I was 10 years old and has never known such righteous fury.

Snape is a grown ass man who bullied defenseless children because of his unrequited love of his childhood friend. He might have eventually been on the right side but the HP fandom retconning Snape as a hero drives me NUTS.

So no regular coverage hu? I feel like this show in particular would have been perfect for the modified discussion format…

You summed up my feelings exactly. The show had such a fanastic cast and interesting premise and squandered it all.

No, she hadn't seen Frank all summer, which is like 3 months. Plus it's midterms so at least a month has passed. Only way she is pregnant with Frank's baby is if she had somehow sneaked off during the time period she was looking desperately for Frank, found him, slept with him, then went back to pretending to look for

I would love for the show to defy expectations and have Meggy and Laurel bond over Wed's death and become closer as a way of coping. I mean, Jesus, she is pregnant and has a dead baby daddy…that has got to to be super hard

I think she would have broken down completely but she is also smart enough to know that she would be in serious trouble over his death…which is how she was able to snap into self preservation mode, giving Oliver the phone and calling Bonnie for help.
