Amell's acting has improved a LOT. Dude might not be the best actor on the show (Barrowman has that one in the bag as well as EBR) but the amount he has gone from Season 1 when it was clear his abs won him the role to Season 4 where his acting was the only thing that redeemed some truly awful story lines is laudable.

Me too! I hate Michael Bay with a burning passion so there wasn't a chance in hell I would catch this in theaters but I like Amell enough that I might check it out on DVD when it comes out on it…but if he is that non existent to the movie, then what's the point?

Oh! And I just remembered Elizabeth was raped. Of course any mother would want to hurt a man who tried to rape her daughter but a mother previous encounter with rape would be extremely sensitive to creepy men luring at her and her young daughter.

You also have to remember that the guy tried to harm her daughter RIGHT in front of her. Even a normal mother would want to stab a guy who did that to her daughter. Throw in the KGB training and that other guy who run away is seriously lucky.

The entire "Nick moved to be with Regan for 3 months" plot doesn't really mmake a lot of sense other than as an excuse to separate Jess and Nick over the break. Didn't this season make a big deal of Nick managing the bar and taking his job more seriously? Who abandons their entire life for someone they barely dated?…
