Penny's family is coming the next day.

Grandfathered got a lot better as the season progressed. The cast has wonderful chemistry, John Stamos made me cry in the memorial episode and the baby that played the grand daughter is absurdly cute. Once the show gets past the Gerald wants to bang his baby Momma sub plot, it gets much better.

This was a really strange, underewhelming finale. I double checked after I watched it that it really was a finale.

Didn't we meet Penny's father already? I don't remember what the other cast members called them but I definitely remember Leonard talking to him and it being super awkward.

She mentions her family is coming the next day. I guess we have to wait till S10 to see them (and what absurd way they will hide Penny's family name)

He had to die because Miller's contract mandated it. Pretty sure the writers would have been happy to keep him on as a regular but Miller didn't want to commit to a network show on a long term basis. He will be back but in a reduced role.

If she has time in between telling everyone she was a barista, of course.

Nah, they all have to return months after they left because other wise the timelines for Arrow and Flash are completely fucked. Sara in particular. I

The Snart from Earth 2 is the mayor though. I can't see a politician Snart be much fun no matter how fantastic Wentworth Miller is.

Well Laurel died and there are not that many powered females in the Arrow universe.

Is Sara really considered the lead of this show? I haven't seen the full season (I missed a few episodes between the second episode and the 50's episode) but it seems like every episode I have seen, Kendra and Ray got way more screen time individually and together than the other cast members have. Hell, I feel like

Fingers crossed for Vixen or Constatine to recur. Constatine could even fill in the snark shoes Snart left behind!

If that is the case, I seriously won't watch anymore. No amount of Caity Lotz can get me through of what would essentially be a repeat of Season 1 except with less Snart (the best part of the show) and more Kendra/Savage/Carter nonsense (the worst).

Welp…there goes my interest in watching the show.

Why is is that a heterosexual romance is considered par for the course for childrens' entertainment but a homosexual one automatically has to have an "agenda"?

Watch it! Kamau is great in it :)

I miss it so much, not least because it was the show that introduced me to they glory of Hari Kondabolu and Aparna Nancharla (also Hari Kondabolu got his own TV deal and nobody on this site reported it? For shame AV Club…for shame!)

I was hoping for that but I really should not have. Shonda is in love with the Eli character and refuses to kill him (or even let him rot in jail for too long). I wouldn't be surprised if the show just ends with a nuclear holocaust that kills the entire cast and most of the world and Eli slowly smiling and raising a

"That's my girl". THAT'S WHAT THE PROMOS HAVE BEEN HYPING? The stupid, inescapable, relentless promos that have been running on ABC all week that kept on saying "You won't guess how the finale ends". Their big promised cliffhanger worthy moment was the revelation that Eli was pulling the strings all along because

So…what are the chances that Stamos's Netflix connection might get the show moved to Netflix? Any at all? I haven't been this gutted about a cancellation since Trophy Wife (RIP) :(
