I agree. I was just speculating on the intent.

We are richer for having lost him.

I'm thinking it's meant as a reference to Scott Baio's comments on Erin Moran. Maybe?

I thought that was something going on with my browser and the background wasn't loading. I always have to highlight that text to read it in different articles. Good to know I'm not the only one.

I think it was supposed to be "goy" to indicate a non-Jewish person.

Jet fuel can't melt these allegations!

Oops, I changed it from "medium" to "psychic" immediately after I posted. I couldn't think of that other word at first. But I'll make this note of that so your comment makes sense.

No, Tambor played the psychic.

Maybe check Politics Corner at What's on Tonight. Might be something there, or a post that will point you in the right direction.

Do you consider that a failure, fiasco, or secret success?

One time I went cross-country skiing at a state park and had parked near where the trail crossed a road. As I was walking along the road, carrying my skis and poles, a cop stopped to ask if I needed help. I thought it was fairly obvious what I was doing and where I was going, but maybe not.

"Oh, Captain Janeway . . ."

Probably true. They likely aren't used to seeing anyone walking through the woods on logging roads, 5 miles from the nearest house. No one could walk that far.

I live out in the country with very few people around, but lots of animals. And I definitely prefer it that way. People have hunting shacks here and there and they come out for the weekends to target shoot and drive around on ATVs, though. I walk all the time and see so many more things than someone driving would see.

"And a day without sunshine is like . . . night."

And the ship was entirely lacking in safety railings.

Here's a ball. Perhaps you'd like to bounce it.

"Sand, blast it!"

You'd be a folk hero, so why not?
