Isn't that true of most internet "debate" these days — regardless of the subject (not the doxxing, the binary thinking)?

Man, you guys are harsh.
hehehah. I think that's what the networks count on.
Hahah, be careful what you wish for. I don't think we should underestimate what the ad industry thinks is brazen.
Ahhh, ok… got it. sorry.
Huh? Not sure I get it. Did I do/say something to offend you?
(sigh) In one of the Teti football columns (last week?) I participated in a long thread explaining the multiple reasons that there is quite probably more to the taping allegations than people realize. It was with a Pats fan who seemed pretty determined not to budge an inch regardless of what was presented. I gather…
Don't forget the magic of videotaping and a commissioner who knows how to protect the "shield's integrity"
No, no, no, you're taking this wrong! What they're trying to say is that everyone everywhere, regardless of ideology, wants to look like Jared.
Serious question. Do you enjoy this show? What's appealing about it?
If you absolutely have to do it, that's probably the only way to go. But that said, you're right. Even a parody of product placement (or lampshading it) is, in the end, a product placement — with the added self-congratulations built-in for the viewer who "gets it."
I'm not a big fan of his, but I appreciate Tarantino's use of Tarantino-verse brands for this very reason,

Also, the implication is that Americans can only truly empathize with parents who've lost a child if they are countrymen. They are not evidently capable of such empathy for parents who are Brits or even Canadians.
It's baffling how many of these adaptations don't translate very well from the UK. My guess is that the adapters don't really understand whatever it was about the original(s) that made them interesting in the first place.
ok thanks. You know, it was a play first, which got very good reviews (which increasingly don't mean anything). But I'm wondering what might've gotten lost in the transition to the screen. (I thought the movie was "meh," but didn't hate it like you did.)
oops, my bad. Just out of curiosity, what was it about the movie that made you dislike it so much?
No. 30 should be the penalty for riverdancing.
Seriously man, you're freaking me out.
This is why I love you nerds.
