Dot & The Kangaroo.
The Bunyip.

I get shivers just thinking of those damn things.

That scene bothered me too because Farmer Ted was actually dying as oxygen was running out.

Nothing in Return to Oz got to me as much as the damn Wheelers. And in NIMH, the owl spooked me way more than the cat.

My only beef w the movie is Torrence being creepy and dark from the very beginning.

Such a tiresome debate/discussion.
There are so many deviating and downright BAD adaptations of this guy's work & he rips this one. Makes me think he'd nit-pick any high profile director's take on his work.

I always loved that the parents actually saw the tiny severed arm and dagger and had that spooky, holy shit, it's real moment.

It is a good one. Remember wishing it had been titled, "The Arc of Descent."

Same here. What's w all the hate?? Ed Harris dancing. That crate ape scared every bit of shit out of me as a kid. Asshole Leslie Nielsen. And all those roaches!

I'm thinking That was a Stephen King short story adaptation as well. 'The Cat from Hell.' It's been a while…

Funny, that was my least favorite.
But now that I think of it, I only saw it once, when it first came out on VHS.

Saw this flick countless times. Love it to death. Want to watch it now.
And Creepshow.
And Twilight Zone: The Movie.
And Nightmares.

Absolutely nothing

A spoonful of sugar maybe?

Heh. Yeah.

Sucks & inhales the dust off of the book…

Love it when Val wakes up from the dream about being back in high school.

This isn't the Howard Johnsons!

Incorrect

Is it better than Nightmare on Hulu Plus?
