I was thinking the same thing last week and came back to it when I caught this part again during the replay AMC does before airing the new episode… It could make sense if, given the number of walkers, and the size of the area they occupied, that an explosion to get their attention would be more effective than just

I agree with this totally and have to admit that I thought the baby just ending up on the ground the way that was shown just seemed….odd… and I don't mean Leftovers-odd…I mean more "why bother"-odd.

I don't disagree with anybody's unhappiness or why they are unhappy. For me, it's the fact that we simply wouldn't get there in 5 episodes when we are focusing on one small group of people in one place. In earlier episodes I mentioned that I thought it would have been better if the main cast remained separated

I partially agree with this point. However, given the fact we are focusing on one loose family unit, you actually shouldn't get to know everything that was happening elsewhere. You witness what this specific set of characters witness. Had they not been tossed together so quickly, an exploration of the greater story

It's not the point you are making, so much as the context you are giving for making it. The entire premise of the show is that nobody knows what's going on. I haven't really seen people commenting here like they expect Travis or any other character to have that specific knowledge yet…

I think most of the questions/comments about Travis' actions are not about expecting him to know the dead are walking. The issue is taken with some of the responses Travis has to the people around him (others too). How these characters speak to one another calmly in the midst of the worst unfolding right in front of

……perfect…..

I think that the type of humor is the dividing line. At this stage, because we know what is going on and the characters generally don't, they would appear ignorant/foolish, even if they were, you know, passing information on like normal people would and not trying to reason with dudes eating dogs in their living

There is a huge difference between being religious and using religion to symbolize something else, such as clinging to a form of morality that could get you killed in the new reality ( :waives to Travis accordingly: ), or just the loss of any sense of sanctuary. TWD has repeatedly used churches as backdrops to speak

I don't think, given his background, Daniel would trust anybody in a military uniform. I would be worried they would separate me from my wife (or worse) given her injury, if I was in Daniel's shoes.

I am admitting to up-voting this for describing Travis as a weiner….

Absolutely. It would be a big omission in the coming episodes if it never showed up…even if only as a backdrop.

Sexactly! Hugging it out shouldn't be on the table.

Junkie Son thinks old people smell is the same thing.

The officer filling his trunk with water and feeding a citizen a line of B.S. about the traffic was great. If the initial build up was more like that, then I don't think a "slow roll out" would have felt slow at all.

Bad boys - bad boys …whatchya gunna doooooooo….

Exactly. I've also wondered what the world of TWD would look like 10/20/50 years later….and what kind of clans and groups form from the ashes.

He is using his old people clothes as camouflage.

Travis' son shouting "No YOOOOOU calm down!" like a kindergartner was right up there too…..

….they really only had combs though…..
