Grey's is still one of the highest rated shows on broadcast.

She only runs Scandal. She just EPs Grey's and How to Get Away with Murder.

Because going the anthology route helped Ryan Murphy not make shitty shows, right?

Grey's is a medical soap with a strong procedural backbone, so it's not got the same wear and tear on it that a fully serialized show would have at this point.

In terms of scripted, there's also:

"I think Tatiana Maslany is going to be too busy being her generation's Meryl Streep"

    Amen!

The one from One Life to Live was also good, IMO.

But if you don't watch the LGBT-centered shows that are put out there, networks are going to stop making them.

And they didn't solve it despite the fact that it was a pre-announced final season.

She's just supposed to be an EP, not the showrunner or anyone involved with the writing.

Yawn. There's overly familiar and then there's this show, which feels like parts of 10 different "prestige" dramas cobbled together. But it airs on FX and has a black cast, so praise pours in.

Yeah, it's hard to make characters written like these not feel like writer's room mouthpieces.

Nice that you started watching sitcoms in 2009.

I'm guessing Alison Tolman was somewhere promoting Downward Dog?

This past season, NBC cancelled one more show than The CW despite programming a lot more hours. They're not the network of quick cancels right now.

A younger racist fan base. Ironic considering her core is made up of minorities.

    What's original about Sasha, though?

    Well said.

She only did the hometown look, though. There was nothing else she did that was specifically Mexican.
