The only time she played into her ethnicity was the hometown outfit.

    Thank you. Couldn't agree more.

    Sasha's been really shady, though.

Nobody's saying that Valentina can stop it all. But to not even make an effort when her fans are some of the nastiest, most mean-spirited out there says a lot about her character.

The show was on Logo then and had a smaller social base. It's on VH1 now, it's been on Netflix for people to catch up on, etc. More people are watching and the fan base has gotten younger.

They have every right to be.

Aja had a following pre-Drag Race.

Her leading the fan favorite applause was delicious.

    I'm guessing you're Latino?

Valentina has no discernible talent, though.

I'm guessing you just started watching in season 5-6? Because the reunions on 1-3 were exactly like this.

They did shoot the finale the night before the reunion.

Interesting that Shea gets a lot of criticism for not showing much personality and being really measured in how she approached the show, but when she lets these girls (rightfully) have it, she gets the most criticism out of anybody. When the reunion had everybody but Cucu and Jaymes involved in drama.

It's amazing to me how defensive people get over the "pretty girl" being attacked.

I mean, saying something isn't going to stop everybody, but it's really sociopathic to look the other way when your "sisters" are getting non-stop death threats and racial/transphobic abuse online in your name. Particularly since Alexis went to Valentina specifically, in tears, to tell her about the bullshit she was

A million percent agree on Shea, btw. Bitch is playing the game harder than anyone, from the suck up-y comment to Ru to the ham-y speeches to Nina to the false altruism of switching roles with Aja. I'm not mad at it, but she reads so inauthentic to me.

"I miss when Ru used to take runway more seriously"

    Valentina's pretty. That's it.

Shea had another really big, showoff-y role and did well. Trinity had a small role and amplified it, both in her scene with Farrah and when she was in the background.

Detox shouldn't have been that close to the title anyway.
