Honestly, if all of this movie was the same except it ended with the reveal that Dean Norris was innocent and Henry was framing him for what he did to the stepdaughter, it would still be a bad movie that was in terrible taste, but I would see it seven times in theaters and it would be in my top ten.

Actually, it is one of his Rube Goldberg machines that stops her from going through with the assassination!

100% worse.

I saw The Book of Henry today, oh boy

It was actually Bitter Rice, a month later.

I can't imagine they won't be releasing as much actual Lynch as they possibly can, especially if they could get Fire Walk With Me separated from the Twin Peaks Blu-Ray set.

It was picked up by Janus, so I assume they were obligated to release it. Plus, it's at least at a lower price point than normal.

Might as well say here that Criterion will be releasing Certain Women, David Lynch: The Art Life, The Piano Teacher, and Hitchcock's Rebecca in September.

My review of The Book of Henry: Somebody should have closed that book! Thank you, folks, that's the review, I'll see you later.

I am now in a theater about to show The Book of Henry.

And she almost certainly didn't know that he started his theatrical moviemaking career with a movie with a female lead, The Sugarland Express.

She had a small part in Catch Me If You Can.

Also, I don't know if it makes it better or worse that she's actually worked with Spielberg before.

Especially one who's coming out with a movie with a female co-lead this year!

And now Griffin Newman has called it his least favorite film ever (dethroning Francis Ford Coppola's Jack) and is demanding to record an episode of Blank Check about it. There's no way I'm not seeing this shit.

The shark refuses to eat Dean Norris at the last second.

Whoever tells Colin Trevorrow that he's not making a Star Wars movie anymore, please give him a hug too, he desperately needs one right now on the basis of his tweets.

Goddamn Emmanuel Lubezki shot The Cat in the Hat.

Most of the other reviews spoil the main conceit, so you can look at them and get the gist.

The reviews of this have been so scorched-earth and the details given are so fucking insane (I compared it to Radio Flyer when the already-bizarre trailer came out, but the whole movie sounds like it more goes into some fucking Collateral Beauty shit) that I absolutely feel the need to see this.
