It's not actually still shooting, it's in post and Whedon is handling reshoots.

Zack Snyder has stepped away from Justice League in the wake of his daughter's suicide, and Joss Whedon will write/direct any additional scenes and guide it through post.

Yes.

Dearest god.

Anyone who hasn't listened to the Blank Check with Griffin and David podcast yet, they just finished their miniseries on Steven Spielberg after Schindler's List, and will next be covering the filmographies of Christopher Nolan and Kathryn Bigelow, with standalone episodes about Wonder Woman and the Martin Short

The Killing of a Sacred Deer is getting the best reviews out of any film that's played Cannes so far, and is apparently absolutely terrifying.

My stomach didn't hurt at any point in either episode, so it's not at Winkie's/BOB behind the dresser in Fire Walk With Me level, but there is definitely some primal nightmare fuel in both.

It was like a lost Michael O'Donoghue idea.

Last night's SNL was also Sasheer Zamata's final episode.

And apparently Adam Sandler is Punch-Drunk Love-level good in it.

In the only news worth paying attention to now, Noah Baumbach's The Meyerowitz Stories is getting very good notices from the critics at Cannes I'm following. I think I'm going to bounce along a street while listening to "Modern Love" in celebration.

In Praise of Love? More like In Praise of Suck, because The Artist is where it's at!
