I would like to fully admit my wrongness and say that Redoubtable is actually getting quite good reviews out of Cannes.

Wow, this Justin Theroux slander is too much for me to handle. When you get cuckolded by Billy Ray Cyrus in a David Lynch movie, you think that excuses any number of dumb Wikipedia photos.

Based on the finale, I think you'll be able to find some of them by looking behind your bookshelf.

Tom Hardy is Venom in a film from the mastermind behind Gangster Squad. Seriously.

You may be right, as the reviews after all that are uniformly very positive.

All films booed at Cannes must now bow before Okja, which was ferociously booed for five straight minutes, first as a result of the Netflix logo and then as a result of it being played in the wrong aspect ratio.

White at least has preparation for this due to him writing Nacho Libre, which the studio added fart noises to when test audiences didn't find it funny.

On the brighter side, he has two other movies coming out this year, one of which he directed and the other which comes out in a few weeks. Although he also apparently did uncredited rewrites on Pitch Perfect 3, so his scorecard is half-good and half-bad this year.

The legend of the poop emoji was way hardcore.

I dunno if there are two Mike Whites in the WGA or what, but this appears to be cowritten by Enlightened's Mike White. I'm sure this paid handsomely for his next movie.

Apparently Wonder Woman is honest-to-god good!

Maybe because it's styled so that it's one page that updates with each new dispatch.

Absolutely, because those movies rule, it's just that SG was banking on it getting superlative reviews in the draft, while those two movies were more divisive.

SG, a lot can change between now and then, but currently it appears to be getting more I'm Not There/Velvet Goldmine reviews than Carol reviews.

I cannot be expected to process all this news immediately after I wake up. I just wanted to know what people thought about Wonderstruck, goddamnit!

Nick Robinson announced on Twitter that tomorrow's Car Boys will be the last episode. :-(
