Pink Diamond's hair is a little reminiscent of Lion's mane, which is diamond shaped.

Who is a ridiculously dumb and naive witness.

Pearl has pink diamonds on her outfits. There's something up with her and Pink Diamond.

But my point was that Pearls are different than other gems. They're made for people, and the pearls we've seen besides our pearl had their gems in the same places that their owners did.

Probably for what happens in the next episode. This was basically a set up for the next one, the way Beta was for Earthling.

But the pearls belonging to Blue and Yellow Diamond do have corresponding gem placement. And a pearl is a different beast than a Jasper or an Amethyst. Plus, Sapphire was of Blue Diamond's court, even though her gem placement is not the same as her diamond's.

Yeah, not buying it. These last couple of episodes have shown Rose was less than honest with her comrades, the CG's didn't see through the story about Bismuth so I figure Rose could get them to buy that she shattered Pink Diamond, and the ruby who fell for Amethyst's ruse doesn't strike me as being the most reliable

Yeah, and that could be because Rose did her best to heal him which resulted in a more animal like appearance. And if Lion was something special, like Pink Diamond, that could have something to do with it to.

No he didn't.

Garnet's, (and by extension Ruby's and Sapphire's) Gems are less obvious than say, Pearl's or Amethyst's, and so is Lapis Lazuli's. And of course, you generally can't see Steven's, though he is part human so I don't know if you can count him. And part of it is just to make certain things clear to the audience. The Gem

But Lion, if he is a corrupted Gem, isn't a normal one. He isn't a hostile monster like Centipeetle was. His appearance is that of an earth animal, albeit an oddly colored one. (Which puts him at odds with most other Gem monsters.) And the Gems have shown that they don't necessarily have much interest in learning

There are two other Diamonds and a whole Home World full of Gems like Jasper and Peridot that they could send down to the earth after our protagonists.

Pearl can keep things inside her gem, and Amethyst, Steven and Garnet summon their weapons out of their's. So a gem having a dimension inside of them isn't that far fetched.

It's the asymmetry I think. Sugilite had similarly jointed arms, but at least she had them on both sides of her. It's a bit startling at first, but a quirk like that sort of fits with Smoky's two quirky components.

That we've seen.

What, did you check? Lion has a mane like a male lion, that doesn't mean he is….uh, physically male. The gems are female but they have to shape shift if they want working human female parts, according to the Crewniverse.

Lion doesn't have to be a gem hybrid. Could just be a docile corrupted Gem, like Centi in Monster Buddies.

Then again, none of them are made of flesh and blood like Steven. They don't have skin that can be broken.

Someone pointed out to me that at the bottom of Pink Diamond's mural (aka the only bit of it we get to see) there is what looks like naturally occurring quartz crystals growing around her feet. People have been theorizing what the different diamonds were in charge of; maybe Pink Diamond was in charge of Quartzes. That

Uh…wouldn't mandatory birth control or sterilization make more sense than mandatory abortions? I mean, if you're going to go down that road, either of those seems more practical and/or foolproof.
