Isn't it Lyanna = Ice and Rhaegar = Fire?

I love the idea of her being corrupted. The cruel irony of the Diamonds corrupting their sister to avenge her is too good. Plus, we know Steven's going to learn how to de-corrupt Gems; how cool would it be for him to de-corrupt Pink friggin' Diamond and finally figure out what the hell happened all those years ago

Eh. Based on the weirdness of Lion's warp, I'm still willing to bet he's connected to Pink Diamond in SOME way. I'll consider the theory dead if/when Lars pulls the same trick.

I'm really surprised people are surprised by the 'Rose may not have killed Pink Diamond' revelation. All of Hit The Diamond was spent establishing how gullible the Rubies were, Back to the Moon was almost entirely spent RE-establishing how gullible the Rubies were, and then we're supposed to believe Eyeball when she

Well I mean, Louise is a nut but treason ain't the wrong word for our current situation.

Okay I need to gush about something that nobody else seems to have picked up on. The thing with the sword? I didn't get it until the Gods showed up but when they did it hit me square in the face and I was fucking *gobsmacked*.

Stars, actually, from what I hear.

What does a show's episode being leaked have to do with it jumping the shark?

I think it's very possible Garnet wasn't there when whatever went down went down.

I could respect that.

I can't think of a reason the Gems would care enough to draw said magic swords.

Slaves were involved in the founding of the government (in a lot of different ways) and that got them squat.

Why does that blow that theory?

Russel T Davis was show runner when that episode came out.

"For all that Steven Universe’s big plot beats have seemed somewhat predictable in the past few months, or at least kinda telegraphed (Jasper’s inevitable, oncoming redemption, Rose killing Pink Diamond)"

I don't know, I think it might actually work better. Sinbad not being the actor anymore adds a meta layer to the joke.

Oh, somebody pointed this out elsewhere on the internet and I thought all you here might be interested. Those lucky numbers that Zoltron gave Steven? (16, 47 and W) They're apparently coordinates. And they're supposed to match up with one of the x's on Buddy's map from Buddy's book. One of the ones by Cuba.

What does that have to do with this episode? This isn't the kind of stuff Steven does everyday. (Poor kid should be so lucky.) Besides which, doesn't that make sense anyway? The town regularly gets attacked by aliens and has three super women from space living there. Compared to all that, Zoltron's not even worth

This comment has the same problem.

I don't really know what this comment has to do with this episode in particular.
