We don't know that she had to. We don't know that Bismuth heard that from Rose. Could've been Rose Quartzes were just made on earth generally.

In all likelihood, Rose would've been a member of Pink Diamond's court, so a connection seems likely to me. Especially given it was before the rebellion ended that the Diamond symbol changed.

For the masculine coding, Lapis and Peridot weren't exactly meek and peaceful. Lapis almost drowned Steven and Connie and broke Greg's leg. Peridot nearly killed Steven upon first meeting him and had that whole death trap set up for the CGs. (diediediediediedieDIIIIIIIEEEEE!) Bismuth and Jasper's violence has been…

It was kind of easy to guess, from that point on, that more secrets were going to come out. If she could hide one thing, she could hide more. This was more just continuing on from that initial thread.

We got confirmation of that way back in Rose's Scabbard. This was just more explicit.

When Peridot was un-bubbled, she was continuing a declaration she'd started before she'd been poofed. I don't think the Gems who are bubbled sense time at all.

Homeworld doesn't actually have to provide for their populace. Their populace doesn't need to eat or sleep, and doesn't have to worry about shelter to keep out the cold or shield from the heat.

I still like the theory that Pink Diamond was part of the rebellion, if it wasn't her idea in the first place. Then if she was on earth at the end of the war and Rose was only able to protect Garnet and Pearl from corruption…

Bismuth didn't say that it was Rose that told her she was grown in the dirt of the Earth.

I wasn't the only one who saw that! Yes!

Actually, Amethyst didn't know until Peridot pointed it out to her in Too Far.

Rose didn't have telepathic powers though. Steven's dream hopping is a power that's unique to him, as explored in Chille Tid. Which makes sense given Gems don't have to sleep, but Steven does.

I didn't know how much I needed a Steven/Connie/Amethyst day out until I got it.

Personally I don't think it's going to be just about Jasper. But whatever she's up to might be an important factor in events to come.

Actually, this story fits perfectly when you remember House Guest. Sure, Greg wanted to spend more time with his son, but he totally played the part of the mooch to a T there.

The story basically boiled down to some lower level dudes wanting to attack Bernie on his atheism and the higher ups shutting them down.
