I didn't watch season 1 but I'm thoroughly enjoying S2 of Scream Queens. It's delightful.

I took it as your more generous "purposefully wooden like I would expect an actual non-TV personality historian to look like doing that same bit on a horror re-enactment show" interpretation.

Evan Peters returns! "Purple cockhead!" "Rouged nipples!" Hillbilly cannibals! The way Frances Conroy spits out Elias's rancid leg-jerky! A veritable cornucopia of bludgeonings! Finally! Giving us what we came here for!

I've had to start watching it with closed captioning on also or I have the same problem. Between the dialogue and the dark way most things are shot I'd have no idea what was going on if I couldn't *read* all the exposition.

I want more of Katy Bates doing her "Bell-ti-meure" accent from Freak Show!

Yeah, I thought Porter would have been in the talking head segments at least saying something about "yeah, there I was in jail, while my daughter was still missing, etc." But yeah, plotting has never been an AHS strong suit.

Where was Lee in the talking heads this week? I know in "reenactor land" she's in jail but that wouldn't mean she couldn't be narrating, or does it? Or did I just miss her somehow?

Yeah, I declined "important updates" then it appeared. Not sure if it's related.

I…totally expect that to be the thing that happens

So…these murde nurses. Are they the same nurses from season 1? Connected somehow? Or just some sort of "standalone" murder nurses?

Hot damn! I totally forgot it's set at Christmas. Add it to the list!

Despite some of the over the top "superviolence" of the 4th Rambo, it works ok as the other attempt to tie up both his signature series on a more respectable note after the sequel debacles. It didn't *quite* get there but I think it's definitely worth a watch and isn't a terrible ending to the Rambo canon.

Yeah, the"manufacturer went out of business and couldn't get parts" reason us what I've heard too. I think they kept the trains for a while inside the FOF building after they took the ride down (I think the ride may have stayed on the property in pieces 'for sale' unit scrapping but I'm not sure). I wonder if the

I'd ride KI's Vortex more if they could retrofit it with restraints like FOF. The combo of over the shoulder restraints and the rough transitions on an old Arrow multi-loop coaster is too much for my middle-aged body.

AE was awesome! It's still good but all the theming is really starting to show its age and needs some serious upkeep/restoration to bring back its glory.

I think I said this on another amusement park article but one of my great regrets is never riding Shockwave's twin "King Cobra" at Kings Island before they took it out.

I've heard rumors of an extensive reworking of Mean Streak by either RMC or GCI. I wonder if that's what he meant about the ride with "a great profile" that needs to be rebuilt. I think Mean Streak's ride course kept as-is with a total steel-on-wood redo by one of those companies to smooth it out could be pretty cool.

Of course not, you're gainfully employed!

When summer rolls around and I don't *have to* be anywhere at any certain time…I watch an embarrassing amount of "live."
