IT'S COMMENTIN' TIME!

Mr. Holtenwasser really helps leaven the show's high jerk content. Just this guy who's had horrible experiences in life and remained a sweet, kind person. I agree he works best in small doses, but I'm glad he's in there.

Chris Pine was great as Ofdiana!

I did not know about that one! Okay, now I'm psyched. I really like teen superhero teams but I know almost nothing about the New Warriors in particular.

Ooh, are they? Which one? She's not an Inhuman, a Runaway, an Agent of Shield, or a Jessica Jone, which pretty much covers all the ones I've heard about.

That's on me, I got ahold of the company credit card and maxed it out on hats and velociraptor chow.

It's kind of a long shot but I would love a Squirrel Girl movie.

It's doubly amazing that it's doing so well considering that men were barred from all showings in a heinous act of discrimination that was exactly like Jim Crow, or so I heard.

I loathe 3D but I put up with it for Wonder Woman. (The dinky theater in my town wasn't offering a 2D option.)

When you're using the imagery of carnivorous, bloody predation to describe the act of illegally watching ABC game shows, that's a sign that your how-cool-you-think-you-are/how-cool-you-actually-are ratio is BADLY out of whack.

That little service costs extra.

And that's a pretty high bar to clear!

I paid for a colossal donut and I'll GET a colossal donut.

Themyscieriously?

That would be an example of sealioning, yes.

…and sealioning!

Technically his full name is Q-Bert Jr.

The message about how human nature and war are messy, complicated things that you can't solve just by finding the one boss guy and beating the shit out of him was somewhat blunted when it turned out she just needed to beat the shit out of different, bigger boss guy.
