Jeez, that was in 2012? Where does the time go.

The buck stops with Comcast, but it's important to be mindful of WHY it stops with them. Ultimately, I think, it's not because of how they treat their customers, but because of the way they treat their employees.

Here's the thing. It's wrong to call people that, but let's consider the ways in which Comcast is and isn't responsible for it. Comast doesn't pay their customer service reps well, and customer service reps are held to ridiculously strict standards regarding the time they spend per call. It's an outrageously difficult

I didn't know Andrew Weber was a Lloyd.

"The next time someone tries to talk to you about how A Beautiful Mind presented such an astounding portrait of mental illness…"

That's a bold one. I like bold picks.

Season 2 Walking Dead: I think the rougher choice, really, was Sarita's arm. Now, the decision to try to cut it off was an easy one, nothing to agonize over. But the way it turned out, and the retrospective realization that maybe it would have been better for her (i.e. over quicker) had we not tried, makes it a really

So, so wrong. *weeps*

I must disagree: I don't think I said it as if it were the only thing he could have lied about.

"I never thought I could get shot down in a helicopter, but then last week…"

I don't believe that Bush intentionally lied about WMDs. I think he thought they were there. Take away my liberal card if you must.

I don't apply that standard to everyone in every aspect of society. Far from it. But I think it applies to newscasters. It's a special requirement of that particular job.

I agree completely - his column bugs me, when I read it, which is rarely. Too much hand-wringing about the decline of social cohesion. But on NPR and PBS he strikes a very moderate and conciliatory tone.

I'm a liberal, but I love Brooks!

I didn't know until recently that Woodruff was the reporter who asked the question that led to Lloyd Bentsen saying "I knew Jack Kennedy, Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine…" Woodruff and Ifill are excellent.

Life of Brian II: He's not the intrepid reporter, he's a very naughty boy.

Nobody is ever just their worst actions or just their best actions. And if your worst action is telling a lie to millions of people, you're doing pretty good.

I really like Jon Stewart, and I dread the day something like this happens with him. I never liked Brian Williams, struck me as a classic narcissist. But if it happens with Stewart it will hurt.

Clearly he wasn't confused.

Which is really shocking. But it was inevitable that he would be found out.
