The link to the "Adventures in Baby Getting" review doesn't expand on the thing about the early Simpsons being buried under the house. I want to know more about that.

I liked Hader a lot on SNL, but what really made me into a big fan of his was learning how much he's into classic movies.

Nosferapti!

I still object to this feature.

I had really fond memories of the television miniseries, but when I rewatched it a couple of years ago I was sorely disappointed. I've never heard the radio version, but it's at the top of my HHGG list.

HHGG the book, or that abomination with Zooey Deschanel?

If the typos are on purpose, that jumps it up to a 4/10.

I've always remembered the upbeat elevator music from SNES's first (and only good) Jurassic Park game. It was a funny contrast to the dungeon crawl of raptor-infested interior locations, and a catchy signal that, in the elevator at least, you were safe.

I don't like the word "mansplain," it's sexist and just an ugly portmanteau, but it was invented precisely to describe those kinds of dudes who drive around in their cars screaming "Rape me!" over and over and then grinningly explain that it's really OK because it's "ironic" and actually "feminist." I think we all

Probably not. I try not to be hyperbolic, and I'm not the kind of poster who overuses the word "worst." So I won't defend it. There are probably worse reasons to dislike a song. But this is a really bad one.

It's nowhere close to as bad as Good Job, Internet. At least HateSong contains original and slightly-above-minimally-thoughtful content.

That strikes me as the worst reason to hate a song in the abstract. I get as tired of repetition as anyone, and there are songs I still can't listen to after having listened to them too much earlier in life (basically all of Nirvana's oeuvre falls into that category for me), but that's not the song's fault.

I agree. Looking at the whole of Kurt's body of work and his comments to the media, it's clear that he was no misogynist. So it's easy to believe that he had good intentions with this song. But having good intentions does not necessarily lead to a good song, and I think the meaning, whatever it was, is buried too deep

Are we all a bunch of dudebros or something? What's wrong with My Heart Will Go On, except for the fact that it was overplayed?

Aren't you still allowed to dislike a song even if you learn that one of your reasons for it is flawed?

"The rape themes within the song." Lipstick on a pig.

It's the kind of song a high school male would write, thinking it was deep and envelope-pushing and brave. It's no surprise it was written before Nevermind came out.

I don't know, but yes, I envisioned the MST3K episode as an antique in my schema. Sorry that wasn't clear.

I watched MST3K's Final Justice. It was a good one, lots of laughs, but I felt uncomfortable about the fact that most of the humor derived from fat jokes. Fat jokes are kind of like ivory knick-knacks: if it's an antique, it's probably fine, but new ones shouldn't be made.

I know somebody did him in The Aviator too, but I remember nothing about that movie except for Brent Spiner.
