ARE YOU EYEING MY LEMON DRINK???!
IV should thank this film because it finally brought him to Ebert-tier snark. Masterfully done.
I think too that Michael has realized that he is not special and he seeks out someone to make him more interesting. A sort of sandbagging against the tides of normalcy that threaten to consume him.
I think this is brilliantly summed up in the last scene, “I’m not leaving. Where else would I go?”
I don’t think Silver Linings was Oscar bait it was so freaking weird when you boil it down. Sports mojo, widow-wooing, dance competition?? That doesn’t scream prestige film to me in spite of the handsome cast.
Well, addiction demon didn’t get a proper sendoff and there was zero tension (as is, sadly, often the case with AHS) but we did get a couple more precious seconds of Drilldo and for that we should be grateful.
On the other hand the entire room was drunk?
Zoe Kazan in blush and ice chevron. WORD.
flowers mixed with garbage.
Some of their choices were so questionable, I wonder if it RAISES Leo’s hopes or rather dashes them upon the rocky shoals below?
Hotel, to me, is ultimately about a once grand testament to American greatness becoming a musty tomb and all clues seem to indicate that the finale will exorcise and rehabilitate it in the name of progress. Not many people liked Freak Show on these here internets but I thought it was a clever and melancholy ode to the…
Only the end fell flat for me and it honestly and truly wasn’t WHAT happened but HOW. There was just too much dead air around Ash’s decision. It seemed like Pablo was killing Kelly for an eternity and Ash should have had the blade in Ruby’s chest as he deliberated. Would have added a bit of “leverage” and possibly…
Renewed before the premiere, friend.
Reviewer is totally right about being absolutely wrong on all accounts. This was awesome, again. I don’t really know how to gauge enjoyment with this show anymore. It’s busted all my dials and metrics. It’s like a never ending happy ending of the tiny-handed Asian variety. It’s my favorite thing on TV. I want to sing…
He did use it! And became Ronald Regan in an alternate universe! It all makes sense now.
Selfie, starring a wonderfully miscast (is that a thing?) Karen Gillan, was way better than anyone could have expected and managed to deliver TVs most fascinating Asian-American character in John Cho’s workaholic, salad planner. If it had some how Cougar Town’d its way into a second season, I bet it would have found…
This hardly seems like a show to rave about. It has its moments, most of them of the Archie Bunker variety, but while it's not exactly underwhelming i left it feeling… Precisely whelmed. The fat slob of a boss is… Problematic. The joke is old the moment you first see him and it never gets better. Ditto the stoner guys…
Rocksmith is your new drug of choice, friend.
I liked Tales from the Borderlands because it gave us the droids we were looking for. Only the Portal series does bots as well. This is Star Wars original trilogy level droidcraft. Loaderbot's robo-naievety and impeccable timing won my heart in short order but the human characters are just as fascinating and most…
I liked The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt because it knew not to waste my time with repetitive side quests. Even something as rote as fetching an old lady's frying pan was fully fleshed out and thrilling. There was ghost hunting, sentient rock trolls that you could side with over humanity, a cheese wizard's final bequest. To…
