It was actually not that bad of a movie. That said the title likely did the movie no favours marketing wise.

Eh, it's pretty much just baseless speculation. Nothing about Luke's fate has been revealed in the trailers or anywhere else, so fans are just throwing out wild theories. I don't see how that really spoils anything.

Pretty much.

So I thought this might make for an fun feature in the comments…
What comics are you picking up this Wednesday?
I plan on picking up the new issues of We Stand on Guard and Sensation Comics. The former should prove to be interesting after the outcome of the previous issue.

I've been curious about Injection. What was that like?

Flashpoint was definitely very nice looking on a visual level, I'll give it that.

I felt the violence Gods and monsters, while still somewhat crass, worked better than in the previous DTV DC animated movies like Flashpoint and War. It always felt like shock value in the later two and came off as forced and as a result off-putting. In Gods and Monsters it seemed to fit the nature of the plot a lot

The Judas coin by Walter Simonson was the only thing I read this week. It was a fun anthology that was an excellent showcase for Simonson's talent in story telling and drawing. I loved how each tale was visually distinct from each other, whether through the artwork itself (like when Simonson drew the Manhunter story

Yes! I love it when the comics panel here focuses on a comic I am reading at the moment. I think the first issue of ODY-C was either featured on Big issues or the Comics Panel but it was because of that I started to follow the series. I haven't read any of Matt Fraction's previous work however, so for the big thing

I really do hope this game reaches the levels of inanity that Beyond 2 Souls did just so we can get another addition to the Sadness Quadrilogy. The play through Two Best Friends did of that game was hilarious.

Comics Alliance did a feature about the best Wonder Woman stories by decade. It's a good overview on the type of W.W. Stories available and offers some solid recommendations. http://comicsalliance.com/b…

Thor: The Mighty Avenger was really great. Chris Samnee's style was a perfect fit for that take on the Marvel universe, especially the space opera world of Thor.

The autobiography nature of the series is definitely its most intriguing aspect. I feel that is part of what makes the series so interesting. That and the way it handles the fantasy elements.

That was my mistake. When I said cliffhanger I was referring to the end of the second volume of A Hero Discovered. I wasn't aware that there was a follow up series.

Whoa wait the trilogy isn't done yet? So the series has left off at a cliffhanger since 1987?

I don't know much about Jem and her Holograms, but I do know that any movie that involves Transformers crossing over with G.I. JOE should be taking inspiration from the current Transformers vs G.I. JOE comic by Tom Scioli and John Barber. I would love to see someone try to translate that comic to the big screen.

I read the first two volumes of Matt Wagner's Mage: The Hero Discovered. I found that while the story itself seems pretty basic, Wagner's way of telling it makes it rather compelling. I think a lot of that has to do with the way he organizes panels (he has a very good sense of pacing) and the characters. I really like

Almost perfect. I think that blue pantyhose would make more sense than red because of the way it separates the red skirt and boots. But that is a minor quibble regarding an otherwise fantastic costume.

The premise is that the dinosaurs never went extinct at the end of the Mesozoic era, hence the emergence of humans.

Yeah his Avenger comic was a lot of fun. He is a really good storyteller. I mentioned this already but I was surprised at now compelling the plot for Half-Century war was. You ended up being invested in these two characters who feel so overwhelmed by the presence of these monsters. Not sure you can say that for a lot
