    The character design of Gru also bears a lot of resemblance to the Tim Burton version of the Penguin. I also recall a character from Despicable Me that bore an uncanny resemblance to the Pointy Haired Boss from Dilbert.

    As I mentioned in my post Aliens: Salvation is definitely one of the good ones mostly for Mignola.

    Does Robocop vs. Terminator count? Because if it does holy shit you guys Frank Miller's and Walter Simonson's Robocop vs. Terminator is such a blast to read. And on that note Simonsson's adaptation of Alien with Archie Goodwin is pretty good too and I really liked Aliens: Salvation by Dave Gibbons and Mike Mignola.

    It certainly is. He is one of my favourite artists and consider his style to be and influence of my own.
    Incidentally I have no idea why Sale is hired to do only a variant cover while David Finch continually gets these high profile gigs at DC.

    Marshal Law. It's a bold, aggressive, punk rock satire against superheroes and it still creates a compelling story. If there was ever a comic book that needed a movie adaptation now more than ever, Marshal Law is the one.

    Once Tom Scioli's Transformers vs GI.JOE is done the only ongoing series that I'll be picking up that isn't from Image is Legend of Wonder Woman.
