He did save the Wildlings…

Bronn has no plot armor so I definitely thought it was possible he would be taken out by Drogon after shooting him with a giant arrow.
I wasn't worried about Jaime at all though.

I can't even fathom how the author thinks Bran would end up in hand to hand combat against a White Walker

The scorpion artillery weapon existed in real life and didn't have poison tips.

I was very impressed by the overall visuals of the episode. The last couple seemed very tv-like, even managing to have me question if Game of Thrones ever looked like the highly produced drama I thought I used to remember, then this episode blew them away.

They already believed that God exists so seeing heaven wouldn't have really mattered to them. It was the fact that God disappeared that made them lose faith.

Said in a review about a film that is solely written by Christopher that is getting heralded as the best film of the year so far

The hyperbole of people saying it's terrible rather than just "not good" is where it becomes clear they are talking out of their asses.

You don't even consider his other films decent? The hyperbole has become very strong on this site against Nolan

Nolan has stated "Dunkirk is not a war film. It’s a survival story and first and foremost a suspense film.".

A lot of people seem to be saying The Prestige and Memento but, while I think they are both great, are probably the only Nolan films that begin to get worse after the second or so viewing

Unfortunate that you've somehow only ever seen two films.

perhaps you missed the near universal critical and commercial praise.

you not liking a film doesn't make it bad fyi

It looked like Styles' character tried helping him up to me

The protagonist did say one person wasn't likely to make a difference then another soldier said then they would also send him out

Seems like you could have assumed a popstar that girls swoon over would have been the out of place attractive soldier.

Characters are frequently what drive movies, but Dunkirk's effectiveness is a pretty clear statement that it's not a requirement.

Scores seem to blend into the film more now to accentuate it instead of being at the forefront. I actually think some older acclaimed scores like Predator's take me out of the movie since they are so prevalent.

I thought the cameos worked in The Force Awakens because they made sense with the plot. They hurt Rogue One quite a bit though since they were specifically there for fan service.
