Having not read the books or seen the film, it was very surprising just how frustrating this show makes you feel. Every adult character is just so incompetent and causes so much trouble for the Baudelaires that it is often hard to watch as which the song in the opening credits suggests

well people speculate that they increased the number of slots for Best Picture in response to not nominating The Dark Knight so it's reasonable to think they could eventually nominate one. I'd be shocked if Deadpool were the one to do it though, even Civil War seems more likely
