I couldn't agree more. Some people should have that last line tatooed on their chests to remind them constantly of it throughout life.

Yeah, that slow burn was pretty brilliant, huh? Maybe you should slow down and have a cuppa.

*COMIC SPOILER*

"Saint of Killers," not Saint Killer.

I'm not sure what you mean by anti-gay material. There's a character who's pretty solidly anti-gay, while being a raging closet queer himself. Is that what you took to be "anti-gay?"

The entire crew of QM&P liberally patronizes Toadville Whorehouse, so I think the Occam's Razor read would be that she was a prostitute.

The Duke = John Wayne, who is Jesse's guardian angel/imaginary friend in the comics.

4 if you count SoK. 5 if you count Starr. 6 if you count Amy.

The original comic was a down-home Texas story written by an Irishman, so that's oddly appropriate.

Did you also fast-forward through the end of "Hey Jude?"

So a nice guy covers up the murders of 4 people, aids in the illegal siege of his town's church, then manipulates the woman who has told him on multiple occasions that she's not interested? If that's your idea of a nice guy, I'm just going to go stand over there…

I don't get how you can think a guy with tears running down his face and an anguished look plastered all over said face was "enjoying himself."

Miles was BORING. And, as we all know, "boring is the worst."

At what point did she tell Miles to sleep with her? Was I out of the room getting a beer when this happened?

No. Angels are in charge of Genesis. If we go by the comic, Fiore and Deblanc are Adephi, the bureaucrats of heaven (as opposed to Seraphi, the warriors).

I disagree. Eugene's arc depends on him being a terrible person who knows how terrible he's been, is genuinely repentant, and is trying for some sort of redemption.

To be fair, Clive (the other QM&P employee) picked up Donnie's pen, making Donnie appear weak.

The fact that you're questioning it and can't stop thinking about it means that it worked in the best way possible.

I don't think so, but the introduction of imaginary Eugene sets up Jesse to have other imaginary friends…

She's the one who set up the microphone and the box for Odin to stand on when he gave the post-sinkhole speech.
