The fact is, the wording on that sign is so common on strip clubs as to be banal. It ain't pretty, but it's true.
Point. However, to be fair, there *is* a plot. It's just not the same plot that the comics had. That's OK with me, because, this way, I'm surprised when something happens instead of knowing every step.
I read the comics, back in the day. They're not being followed, but I think the plot is being set up to bring a non-comic reading TV audience along for the ride. I'll bet we start seeing stories from the comics after S1 is over.
