Nah, I mean I doubt people who are Superman purists would think so, but I found the Director's cut of BVS to be really good.

Having Biehn be The Terminator would've been great if only for the first WTF moment when his character tries to kill John, while the original Terminator protects him.

"I'm a design major, with a curriculum that required me to study basic and advanced film-making. Watched the movie with college friends of the same major, and we ripped it apart scene by scene."

Sure I get the surface differences but if you asked me to actually describe their personalities or desires I'd have trouble doing it without using a bunch of really similar, really vague good-guy descriptors. "Sasha is brave, strong, loyal, good at heart. Rosita is loyal, strong, brave, good at heart. Glenn was

Yeah not the strongest year for CBB. There have been a few standout moments (loved Andy Daly's debut as Neptuna) but no episodes the really *clicked* beginning to end.

What they really need to do is cull the cast. It's actually weird that for a show with such a large ensemble, so few seem to have actual personalities. For example, if somebody asked me to discuss the differences between Sasha and Rosita I wouldn't even know where to start.

Have you actually watched this season?

And I'm sure Bourdain wouldn't get all up on his high horse if you said the same thing about wine. Which I do. All the fucking time.

"While the rest of show-business spent the 1980s fucking their brains out while doing mountains of blow, it’s easy to imagine Costner staying at home at night attending to his stamp collection or reading up on advances in renewable energy."

    Hence David S Pumpkins.

Vince Vaughn in Swingers… Yeah, that's about it.

This isn't a timebomb. It's an alarm clock!

It's true. Woody Allen is alleged of comedy.

I've found the perfect way to watch this show. If the AV Club grade is a B or above, watch the episode. If it dips below, read the synopsis and get on with your day. It's surprising how much better a show seems when you only watch the good episodes. And given the lack of character consistency even between scenes I

At least I'm not the only who finds this sketch painfully unfunny.

God do people have to bring Donald Trump into everything?

    White Chicks?
