I really enjoy the Angie Tribeca opening credits. Mostly for the increasingly silly ways they'd tie in that scream to the beginning of the show.

Absolutely. in fact I think Dexter has the slyest if not the very best opening credits of all time. The disparity in quality between the credits and the show was ridiculous.

Well you *would* say that… JACKMAN.

Arfin is a writer, not an actress.

Damn I was going to make that joke!

People always say I remind them of Seth Green or a young Woody Allen, so I'll go with that. They're also both nebbishy Jewish-looking guys meaning they've got the essence locked down.

True, and I had no problem with it. Doesn't change the fact that it was jarring to some people on first viewing.

Obviously it's not for me to dictate what tone his movies take but I think Nolan just works better as a maker of films that are dark and cynical. Memento and Prestige and even Dark Knight work best because of the dark heart at the centre of them.

I think it's one of those movies that requires more than one viewing to really appreciate. The twists work well but to certain people they could also come off ass showy and annoying - I know a few who were pissed that the answer to one of the central mysteries was ACTUAL MAGIC. It's only once you know what's going on

Belize embraced it too, and they were being used as shorthand for THE PLACE YOU GO WHEN YOU DIE.

moose4life19 knows his shit. Synister Gates is indeed a very good guitarist.

Ok Go's music video to me are like that one smug, stupidly overachieving kid in class whom everybody just wanted to punch in the mouth.

Who am I gonna "call"? No one, that's who. What is this, 2003?

Well that and the fact that every second article reads like the sort of shit first year film-school students hand in.

Exactly. Also, sometimes grief takes the form of weeping or depression and sometimes it takes the form of creating a multimedia experience where gamers can lead your mother through the gates of heaven. That's straight out of Kübler-Ross.

Craig McCracken eh? For some reason I always thought PP Girls was created by Genndy Tartakovsky. You learn something new every day.

Well I was really into my relationship with Charlize Theron for a while there.

I hope this isn't another Boardwalk Empire ie. a show that by all rights should be my favourite thing on television but that I can't for the life of me get into.

What makes it better is how none of them are smart enough to realise what a genuinely good song it is.

Yeah it's pretty much The Outer Limits if The Outer Limits was good.
