OMG, Carmina Burana! Remember when practically every movie trailer that had any more action than watching grass grow, used that music?!
People, there's tons of stuff that's in the public domain, please play anything else!

Simon Phoenix selecting criminals to unfreeze, "Jeffrey Dahmer, I love that guy!"

Alan J. Pakula directed. He knew how to get good performances out of his cast.

Several French co-workers told me that Kline's performance is one of the few by a non-French actor that doesn't make them want to rage. Plus vineyards!

I had a 3rd grade teacher who claimed to be drinking carrot juice in class.
It was vodka.

Yeah, but most times you don't call up the equipment manager as your 9th inning relief.

haha
I'm imagining his grabby little hands "gimme the Twitter!"

Not that I'm complaining, but were regular guys that sculpted and waxed in the 80s?

Yeah.
He seems to have a thing about dogs…My Life as a Dog, Hachi:A Dog's Tale, now this. 😔

Queen of Katwe is a lovely family film, beautifully filmed.

Yeah. Especially if you're already financially stressed. Plus, kid wrangling becomes much more difficult - it's 3 toddlers vs 2 adults. If the kids are spaced out, the older ones can amuse themselves or possibly help with the younger.

20,000 leagues references the distance of the voyage underwater, not the depth of the water.

Okey.
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was first published in 1870. Wells was born in 1866.
A literary Mozart, I guess.

Interesting idea. Still doesn't make Wells the author of 20,000 Leagues.

My father would read to us at bedtime when we were kids. I remember Verne's novels were among his favorites.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea was written by Jules Verne, not H.G. Wells.
