Samurai Jack was always one of the most beautiful and well made shows that cartoon network ever produced. It is the seminal work of the man who brought us Dexter's Lab and the Powerpuff Girls. I am so glad to see it back and getting the praise it deserves. 94 on metacritic for an animated series is unusual to see.

IMO it's gimmicky. The first few seasons Mac was presented as straight and plot's centered around him trying to get laid etc. At some point they probably thought the Mac character was dull or too much like Dennis so BAM he's gay.

The original guy they had as the mountain was better. They switched actors after a couple seasons absence to this guy and it was kind of weird how no one seemed to notice.
