You mean Flash Gordon was targeted? I was hoping he'd do big things for the Jets this year.

But the Guardians doesn't really fit with Cap. Post-Avengers Marvel is splitting into camps, cosmic and grounded. Thor, the Guardians, Dr. Strange when he comes along will be in the cosmic camp and play off one another. Cap, Iron Man, Hulk etc., get the grounded camp with the streams only crossing during Avengers

Or a download into a robot or some kind of power armor

McHale is in the top two of my "middle-aged white dudes list." I think CBS would give Aisha Tyler a serious look. She's a known entity to CBS, has standup experience, Talk Soup, she's got nerd cred to take on the Jimmys.

Patton Oswalt?

You forgot the bit with no age, the Dancing Itos

Would make for a great Rickroll moment for Dave calls for the new successor to come out and Leno comes out. After the moment of surprise the camera would flash to the green room and the real successor is tied up in the corner.

Good idea for a running gag for Letterman to "announce" a different replacement every night until a real successor is picked. Kind of like Murphy Brown's secretary or the multiple Greta's from Chuck

When did he rob sweet Jemma of her virtue? He's only bagged May and Asgard's village bicycle, who is not part of the team.

Too busy doing color commentary for the UFC

Because Nightline is still drawing such large viewership

What about Patton Oswalt? Strong Twitter presence, standup background, knows a lot of people because he's never met a TV guest star role he didn't like.

I think Patton would be an acceptable replacement.

So the irony is that O'Reilly is trying to be Colbert without the irony.

Number 2: The place where he got his giant meatball at Christmas went out of business

No. 6: Now that Cher has all but retired, his heart just isn't in it any more.

Promote Ferguson I assume. What's scary is who they'll pick for the 12:30 shift. Hope to God CBS isn't one of the suitors Chelsea Handler's people were barking about the other day

So it's better than two other Marvel movies?

Classic Hollywood tale. His shows make bank for the network, so it turns a blind eye to his "quirky behavior" toward his jailbait actresses, who are in turn so desperate for the kind of stardom being on one of his shows bring that they put up with said "quirky behaviors"
